・ People with G6PD deficiency (people who wish to receive an IV drip of more than 25g of vitamin C need to undergo a G6PD test).

Why do you need a G6PD test?

A. G6PD is an enzyme found in red blood cells. Individuals with a genetic deficiency of this enzyme may experience hemolysis (red blood cell destruction) when receiving high-dose over 25g vitamin C Intravenous Drip. Before undergoing high-dose over 25g vitamin C treatment, a G6PD test is conducted to ensure safety.
